We were matched with a birthmom this weekend! We were so excited!
After much discussion, though, we decided not to accept the match, due to some sticky circumstances. I feel really crummy about it, though, since it does involve another person’s feelings besides ours.
I keep telling myself that if this situation was so good, then our next one will be even better.
On a lighter note, I got the material so I can begin sewing crib bedding. I have all the patterns cut out, but have yet to do anything with the fabric. I have also painted more on the mural. Now all I have to do is add the grass, and it can be done if need be. I figure if the baby comes suddenly, then the mural is done, but if not, then I can just keep adding animals as I have time to.
